Il corpo risponde.<\/p>\n  <\/header>\n\n  <section class=\"project-statement\">\n    <p><em>Stills<\/em> \u00e8 un progetto nato dalla collaborazione tra il fotografo Burak Bulut Y\u0131ld\u0131r\u0131m e la direttrice artistica Meryem Ayd\u0131n.<\/p>\n\n    <p>Ayd\u0131n selected and photographed thirteen everyday objects, among them a hand mirror, a suspended fish, a sponge, a crumpled ball of paper, pink roses, a peeled lemon, an old book, and a dark red apple. In the studio, five contemporary dancers were shown the same object photograph moments before the shutter was released. Instead of copying the object's outline, each dancer imagined its weight, texture, and tension, and turned that mental image into movement. Because each dancer internalises the same object differently, one photograph returns as five distinct bodily states.<\/p>\n\n    <p>Un pesce appeso per la coda potrebbe evocare la sospensione in un ballerino e la resa in un altro, un corpo intrappolato tra gravit\u00e0 e spinta ascensionale. Una pallina di carta stropicciata potrebbe evocare il crollo o il ricordo di qualcosa che un tempo era liscio. La fotocamera cattura l\u2019istante in cui un oggetto immaginato si trasforma in movimento fisico e si concretizza in un gesto.<\/p>\n\n    <p>Ogni fotografia dell\u2019oggetto \u00e8 accompagnata dalle cinque risposte che ha suscitato: l\u2019immagine di Ayd\u0131n, austera e quasi forense sullo sfondo nero, accanto alle fotografie di Y\u0131ld\u0131r\u0131m che ritraggono i ballerini nella morbida luce grigia dello studio. L\u2019oggetto rimane uno solo, identificabile; i cinque corpi vi rispondono in cinque modi diversi. La fotografia dell\u2019oggetto appartiene all\u2019ordine dell\u2019inventario, esatta e completa in s\u00e9 stessa; le fotografie dei ballerini appartengono all\u2019ordine dell\u2019evento.<\/p>\n\n    <p>Il titolo racchiude tre tipi di immobilit\u00e0. Una natura morta: le fotografie di oggetti appartengono alla lunga tradizione delle cose disposte per essere osservate. Un fotogramma: un singolo fotogramma estratto da una sequenza in movimento.
